Aurélie est une martyre, vénérée à Strasbourg depuis les débuts du christianisme. Son histoire demeure mystérieuse jusqu'à ce jour. On sait qu'elle était l'une des onze mille vierges à avoir fui l'Angleterre avec la princesse Ursule. Mais le périple d'Aurélie prit fin lorsqu'elles arrivèrent à Strasbourg.
